Other details: A tile dating AD 1820 and now forming portion of the Bateman Collection in Sheffield Museum. A similar tile is in the York Museum, taken from St Mary's Abbey. The coat is that of Colville viz. or a fess gules and is recorded in the rolls of Henry 3 and Edward I as that of Walter de Colville and of Sir Edmund de Colville in the roll of Edward II, Colville of Encross is figured on tile No 291 of this collection (see.. ).
