Other details: Another, with a quadrant with legend in black letters ELISABET MORTON between the letter R and a shield of arms. 15th century. 4.7 inches square. Hugh Morton was Abbot of Gloucester AD 1412 to 1420. Yellow brownish red. In pencil: Also at Evesham Vetusta Monnumenta V - reads IHC Abet Morton. Also see Society of Antiquaries Bishop Compton p 102. Augustus Wollaston Franks not written on but amongst.
