Other details: A tile made up from two fragments removed from St Mary's Abbey in the same city (Leicester) on which the Marian monogram is depicted. A precisely similar tile was formerly found in the Abbey of St Mary de Castro at Leicester and is represented in the Reliquary. See Nichols no 76. Same design but differently treated at Leicester St Mary's.
