Other details: J G George Esq., 1852. (See Back). Another oblong rectangular with shield of arms of Coke, with helmet, crest and maulting, in margin is inscription in black letters orate p animabus Thome Coke et Alicie UXORIS SUE ffc. 15th century. Found with several others May 1852. Length 8.7 inches. See Church (?what book) fig 5 and Shaw Specimens of Tiles. Pavements. Dull yellow, brownish red. No trace of glaze, left side broken, placed in black wooden frame (Irene Hore).
