Other details: Given by W H Taylor Esq., 1841. Inked in tracing. Tile with raised subject: or wyvern. 13th century. 3.9 inches square. A 6 - 15 are from Castle Acre Priory Norfolk. Several of them are figured on p.214 of Notices of the Castle and Priory at Castle Acre Norfolk by Reverend J H Bloom. Brownish colour - yellow glaze showing in most sunken places (shaded). 3 3/4 inches square. Straight sides. Thickness A corner 190 mm. B corner 200 mm. In pencil: Castle Museum Norwich Norfolk.
