Other details: Arms of De Grondison. In pencil: Society of Antiquaries Renaud II p 253 Different arms of Grondison viz. Paly of six argent and vert on a bend gules three eaglets. This coat occurs in the Caerlaverock Roll temp Edward I and may be that of William, a younger brother of Otho de Grondison who had possessions in Gloucester and Hereford: in the later half of the 13th century.
